Wala akong maisip

Hahaha. Kelangan kong makaabot ng 15 posts y'all!! Hahaha. :)

Birthday :D

Birthday ni Quintin bukas. XD

Wala lang, strictly black and white daw ang attire. Pero ang problema, halos wala akong semi-formal na black and/or white, huhuhu.

Lately, I've been falling asleep in most of my classes. First I slep in Bio class under the hypnotic spell of Miss Sofia Docto. Haha. I wasn't a sleepyhead in class before. How could this happen to me :|

DILEMMA :|

Hahaha. Anlabo neto. Ang lalim niya. Basta! I had to give up an opportunity all for the sake of good manners. Hahaha.

Wee. Kumusta :))

Heehee.

Wala lang, naiinis ako sa English. I find it stressful.

Pati yung STR! Grabe. Hahaha. Napakalabo ng buhay and here goes STR worsening my life. Hahaha. Let's hope no STR teacher reads blogs. Especially a blog that isn't my "real" blog.

Wala lang. Visit niyo multiply ko :)

Magaling ako!

Alam mo.

Hahaha. Ang galing ko! Humahanga ako sa sarili ko.

So. I won't be posting kaemohan right now. Hindi ko type. Alam niyo kung bakit? Kasi, andami kong cinacram ngayon. Hahaha. He doesn't know what we're going through. Yahoo.

Scoliosis

This is bad. I feel my back aching more often than before. I'm thinking that this scoliosis thing is taking its toll on me now. Waaa. Ayoko talagang maoperahan or mabrace man lamang sa likod. Ang sad talaga ng buhay ko. Nakaisanlibo na kong mga ingrown nail, but I still feel the next toe nail touching the skin of my toe. This is baaaad.

I think this may have been due to my negligence in performing my exercises.

We were pretending to be fanboys/girls of Click Five in Starbucks.

Tapos medyo malapit na rin kami umalis. Yung mga babae sa harap namin, sabi.. "JENNY!! PLEASE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" As in sobrang nagmamakaawa na siya like it was a matter of life and death kung ano ang sunod na tutugtugin ng banda. Wahahaha.

Ooh Yeah :D

I wonder what university I'd be entering two years from now. Sana maging rich ako balang araw. This early nag-iinvest na ko ng pera. YAHOO!! XD

RO!

Ragnarok Free-to-Play Server Launch Date
Date Posted: Oct . 08 , 2007

Level Up! Inc., the undisputed market leader in the online gaming industry will mark another milestone with the next big addition to the world of Ragnarok!

This October 10, 2007 Level Up! will launch Ragnarok Online’s very own Free-to-Play server, Valkyrie. This is just another step in the continuing development of the highly diverse and detailed world that is Ragnarok Online.

Mon Macutay, Level Up! Marketing Manager, explains the goals of Valkyrie, “Ragnarok Valkyrie aims to grow the market by reaching out to people who are not used to paying the monthly subscription fee. Instead of paying for their game time, players can opt to buy in-game items using top-up cards which will help them in their adventures.”

As of today, Ragnarok Online has more than 7 million registered subscribers. Level Up! expects to grow that number even further as they open the free-to-play server this October.

Besides being free-to-play, Valkyrie’s server settings and features are considered firsts in the world of online gaming. Various maps are player-kill (PK) enabled which means players can attack one another without any warning.

“Valkyrie is all about community and competition – both factors fueled the success of the previous servers of Ragnarok Online and we believe that the PK feature combined with the free-to-play model will be the defining characteristics for Valkyrie,” explains Carlo Ople, Level Up! Brand Manager for Ragnarok Online.

RO players can relive the adventures all over again, only this time, they must watch out for both monsters and other players!

And all this will happen soon in Ragnarok Online: Valkyrie, The Battlefield of Legends!

Ragnarok Online is the first and longest running MMOPRG in the Philippines, dating back to June 2003 when it first had its public Open Beta Testing. With a solid track record of leadership in the online gaming category in its four years of existence, it is considered the most successful online game in the country – with no other game even coming close to the records it has set.

Players can download the Valkyrie installer at the official Ragnarok website on October 10, 2007. For more information, you can also visit http://ragnarok.levelupgames.ph/valkyrie.

I like retreats.

I guess the real purpose for a retreat was to be closer with God. And I think it was quite successful with that purpose. Some people say the retreat was a time to become closer with your friends.

The village-look was really amazing (maybe because I haven't been to retreat houses before?) and everything was just so peaceful. The chapel, kahit na maliit lang, was beautiful (I found the monstrance really pretty :D), and the rooms had a home-y feeling. I liked it :D Although I think the rooms could've been maintained a little bit more.

Ang saya talaga ng retreat! It's really fulfilling and sad at the same time since it only happens once in a while. It was the time that made me reflect on Jesus and God a lot, how much He loves us and all the things He did for us. It really felt like I was embracing Jesus the moment we closed our eyes to reflect on Jesus. I saw Jesus with a serene and smiling face, full of radiance. Seriously, it felt so happy and sorrowful at the same time, since I was thinking how much He loves us despite being a sinner. Ang unexplainable :) Maybe you don't believe me, but it really felt like we were embracing each other.

DAHLIA!!

MISS KO NA ANG DAHLIA. Promise.

Undeniably the best section ever. Walang aangal!!

HAHAHA. Dahlia!! Gusto ko talagang magreunion. Sobrang saya ng second year dahil sa Dahlia. Kelangan na nating magreunion!! :)

People I want to talk to :)

I want to talk to several people right now. Sometimes I want to teleport somewhere isolated and talk with my friends para lang sa peace na dati ko pang hinahanap. I think I may not have been such a peaceful person this year and I couldn't concentrate on my studies and Blablabla. EMO! Hahaha. :)

Postie

I don't like posting in Blogger. I'm seriously forced to post here... This sucks ._.

I used to like Blogger. But everyone's blogging today so it seems kinda boring now.. Now I have a Multiply YAY. XD Anyway, I don't think I'll be posting something decent here since we're only asked to post for the grade...

So.. Yeah.

Generations of Programming Language // Programming Paradigms

Generations of Programming Language

First Generation
* The first generation of programming language is a machine-level language that makes use of the binary system (0 and 1) as codes for the program. The system would then convert these codes into instructions. Machine-level language was fairly quick in execution since it is directly instructed by the CPU; however it is fairly confusing to learn and to edit since the programming language uses numerical representations of instructions that do not appear significant to a human user.

Second Generation
* The second generation of programming language makes use of assembly language, meaning, it has a slight similarity with the human language, although it has to be converted into machine language (the binary system) in order to be executed. Each command is mapped into a set of binary codes, which the CPU performs in a similar way that it executes machine-level language. It has a significant speed advantage, although machine-level language is still quicker in execution due to its direct instruction into the CPU.

Third Generation
* Third generation programming languages are designed for easier human use. General representations of human arithmetic and other logical operations are represented in third generation languages.

Fourth Generation
* Fourth generation programming languages were made to remedy the third generation language's flaws. While third generation languages performed complex functions in the program, the fourth generation language's objective was to lessen the error and quicken the process of the execution of the commands. This kind of language was designed for specific purposes, such as mathematical problem solving or systems engineering.

Fifth Generation
* The fifth generation programming language was designed generally for the user's ease. The user does not specifically need to create an entirely new program, since the language is designed to solve the problems based on user input. The user does not need to worry about making the program; the program readily performs the required routine and algorithm with the necessary input. Fifth generation language is involved with artificial intelligence research.

Programming Paradigms

Imperative Progamming
* This refers to the style or type of programming wherein the language describes how a computation is done and performed, as compared to "what" should be computed. In a way, imperative programming is quite similar to imperative statements in natural language, since the language basically "commands" the computer on what to do, instead of just "describing" what should be executed. For example, HTML (although not a programming language) is declarative in nature since it states what should appear in the page, not how it should be done; therefore HTML is not imperative.

Functional Programming
* Functional programming emphasizes the use of functions in a program, instead of use of style similar to imperative programming. While imperative programming emphasizes the change of state in the program, functional programming avoids changing of data. Most of functional programming commands are based on mathematical equations (functions) that are written in the program itself.

Logic Programming
* This programming paradigm is generally involved with mathematical logic in programming. Logic is used as declarative representations. The programmer should ensure the program's truth in its logical representations. The programmer has to learn the behavior of the problem-solving methods of the program, so this programming paradigm is also dependent on the programmer's awareness. This type usually consists mainly of computational methods.

Object Oriented Programming
* This programming paradigm involves the use of objects instead of a usual list of programming "instructions." The objects can be viewed as independent sub-machines designed for a responsibility which receive and send messages to the main machine. Object oriented programming involves the interaction between several objects. It was intended to provide easier maintainability and is easier to use, due to the concept of having discrete units of logic.

Concurrent Programming
* This involves the concept of simultaneous execution of tasks. There may be several computational tasks performed at the same time and can be made to interact. In contrast to parallel programming, this programming paradigm emphasizes on interaction between these computational tasks. There are a few problems that can occur within the program, though, due to several processes interfering with each other. While some of these processes could be remedied using a different solution, some may still end up with a programming error.
